Objective:
Our objective is to increase the level of safety in the workplace and comply with legislation (Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, Act no 85 of 1993) in terms of all aspects of safety. We understand your various operations make compliance difficult in some cases. We are sure you agree that minimizing any injury and having the necessary training and equipment to deal with any problem does offer some piece of mind, that no liability could fall back on the employer, as farmers are under more pressure every week, to comply with more and more requirements in order to farm safely, we look forward to meeting these challenges and form partnership with a common goal.
Method:
We will be focusing on all aspects of safety from the cane cutters in the field, the Bell loaders and Tractor operators and Truck drivers, our experience is that in many cases we are responsible for certifying the Tractor and Bell Operators and it makes sense to include safety. Our instructors have often carried out training and certification on your employees, while instructors are busy with Driver/Operator Training, they have the opportunity to observe other safety activities in and around loading zones, and almost do impromptu inspections at any time and report these findings to the client.

training is always an option as this training reminds the employees of all aspects of safety in operating their machines or vehicles and the dangers associated with each item. Other benefits could also include inspecting the machines for safety defects or problems that if identified early may save on repair costs, injury and down time.
Monthly audit visits : This is an unannounced monthly audit of the farm of the various operations and processes that should be in place and report back to the client in the form of a written report for discussion at your monthly meetings and can be tabled on the agenda and written records of recommendations and controls put in place to correct any areas that may require attention for follow up.

Accident investigations are a crucial part of any Health and Safety Management System. They are able to highlight the reasons for the occurrence and methods to prevent further incidents. The primary purpose of these investigations is to explore reasons for events as well as causes. Effective accident investigation identifies and addresses the root causes of accidents. We are a group of qualified independent accident assessors on call 24/7. Our services include coming out to site, establishing the cause of the incident, mapping the area, digitally documenting the site and vehicle and issuing of a full report.
